Biography
The Echuca local has worked tremendously hard and banged down the door now to earn a development player opportunity with the South East Melbourne Phoenix now for a second season.
After growing up near the Victoria/New South Wales border, he has worked hard to get a chance in the NBL including playing in country tournaments representing the Echuca Pirates, and driving to Melbourne to play junior basketball with Eltham and Dandenong.
Played in the NBL1 South competition at the Bendigo Braves for three seasons and had a standout 2023 campaign being named the NBL1 South Youth Player of the Year averaging 16.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals a game.
That saw the tenacious guard earn an NBL opportunity with the Phoenix and he hit the floor 14 times in NBL24 for 3.4 points in 6.4 minutes including a best of nine points against Melbourne United.
Joined the Ballarat Miners for the 2024 NBL1 South season to play under Phoenix assistant Luke Brennan, and helped lead them to a Grand Final with 13.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.3 steals.
