Adelaide 36ers are thrilled to announce the signing of import Trey Kell III for the NBL24 season.
The 193cm swingman spent last season playing at South East Melbourne Phoenix and has signed in Adelaide on a one-year deal.
Head coach CJ Bruton said the addition of Kell III give his roster added scoring punch and an increased threat from outside the three-point line.
“Trey showed last season he can make a bucket and take over a game, this is an asset that’s going to give us an added threat,” Bruton said.
“He can also play multiple positions, which gives us many options at different line-ups throughout the course of a game and the season.”
Kell was a key component to the South East Melbourne roster during NBL23, averaging 12,5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

The 27-year-old spent his NCAA college career at San Diego State before spending six years travelling the world with stops in Bosnia, Canada, Hong Kong, Poland and Italy.
“What Trey can bring to the 36ers is that added closer I have been searching for,” Bruton said.
The 2019 NBL Canada Finals MVP has won championships in three different countries, with Olimpia Milano in the Italian League in 2022, Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski in Poland in 2021 and Moncton Magic in Canada in 2019.
Kell will arrive in Adelaide for the NBL24 pre-season in early August.
