Starling signs on for NBL25 season
Adelaide 36ers are excited to announce the re-signing of power forward Alex Starling for the NBL25 season.
Starling, who averaged 3.8 points and 3.8 rebounds across 25 games in NBL24, has signed a one-year deal.
The 199cm power forward said he’s thrilled to get another opportunity at the highest level and is ready to build on his NBL24 campaign.
“It’s great to have the chance to go around again, Adelaide is home for me,” Starling said.
“I feel like I learnt a lot last season and I can’t wait for the next challenge.”
Head coach Scott Ninnis said Starling will be an important piece to his roster in NBL25 and expects the forward to make strides in NBL25.
“Going into this season I expect Alex will make a bigger and better impact for the club,” Ninnis said.
“He has been through his first season now and knows what to expect, so I’m really excited to see what Alex can bring to our team.”

GM of Basketball Operations Matt Weston said re-signing Starling gives the club another strong, local presence to the roster.
“We want to keep building our core group of players, and Alex ticks all the right boxes,” Weston said.
“He can play multiple positions and gives us flexibility on the defensive end of the floor.”
Starling joins Isaac Humphries, DJ Vasiljevic, Nick Marshall, Jason Cadee, Sunday Dech and Lat Mayen as contracted players for the NBL25 season.
