The Adelaide 36ers corporate initiative Sixers In Business continues to build momentum ahead of the NBL25 season.
Sixers In Business aims to unify the club’s corporate network in the effort to connect and foster relationships within the South Australian business community.
Earlier this month at SGP Civil's Somerton Park headquarters, Adelaide 36ers players Alex Starling and Ben Griscti were in attendance when SGP Civil director Andrew Vette was delighted to receive another brand-new truck purchased from Tony De Leo of Asset Transport Solutions and expertly built by David Di Lorenzo's team at ALDOM Transport Engineering.
This marks their second purchase within six weeks, and the team couldn't be more thrilled with their impressive new addition.
Vette said the decision to purchase the truck from Asset Transport was an easy one after developing a professional relationship during various networking events facilitated via the club.
“When I met Tony and David through Sixers In Business we immediately connected,” Vette said.
“We were in the market for a specific type of truck and through our connections with Sixers In Business, Asset Transport Solutions were able to accommodate our requirements.”
De Leo said Asset Transport Solutions were “more than happy” to provide fellow SIB member SGP Civil with a specialised Toyota Hino truck.
“When it comes to business, I resonate with those who share similar values and ambitions,” De Leo said.
“From this perspective it solidified my reason to join the program and I’m a strong advocate for anyone looking to become a member.
“The Sixers In Business program is a great initiative by the club and I’ve met several people I wouldn’t get the opportunity to through their events.”

Sixers In Business was established in 2022 to unify the club’s corporate network and connect and foster business relationships.
Adelaide 36ers Executive Chairman Grant Kelley said for two of the SIB members to come together and do business is a fantastic result for the program.
“This is exactly why the club created the Sixers In Business program, and I hope this is just the start of more relationships between our partners,” Kelley said.
With exciting events planned for the NBL25 season and beyond, the club looks forward to being able to facilitate more business-to-business connections.
