Marinovic to lead Serbia Under-20 team

Adelaide 36ers senior assistant coach Marko Marinovic has been named to lead Serbia’s tilt at this year’s FIBA Under-20 EuroBasket tournament in Greece.
Marinovic, who last off-season won a bronze medal as assistant coach of the Serbian national team at the Paris Olympics, will be in charge for the July 12-20 event.
Serbia has a tough schedule after being drawn in Group D alongside last year’s champions France, 2024 runner-up Slovenia and Iceland.

The FIBA Youth EuroBasket tournaments provide a premier stage for Europe's brightest young basketball talent to showcase their skills and compete at the highest continental level.
Held annually, these competitions offer emerging athletes the chance to test themselves against Europe's elite and proudly represent their nations on the international stage.
Serbia will look to improve on last year’s 11th place finish after losing their Round of 16 clash 72-67 to Czech Republic.
