Adelaide 36ers NBL25 import duo Kendric Davis and Jarell Martin have arrived in town and are preparing for a huge season ahead.
Davis couldn’t wait to hit the court and wanted to train just hours after landing in the City of Churches last weekend.
“I texted Matt (Weston, GM of Basketball) that I wanted to go shoot straight away, like that night, but that turned into the next morning,” Davis said.
“I’m here, I’m locked in and I’m ready.”
The 180cm point guard has now spent almost a week in Australia and is already getting acclimatised to his new surroundings.
“That was my first ever international flight, and I was very curious so I stayed up a long time,” Davis said.
Davis, who played for Portland Trail Blazers at this year’s NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, has said what the fans are going to see come the season start.
“I want to bring that winning attitude. Everywhere I have been I have won, being as dynamic as I am,” Davis said.
“I want to make big shots, and I want to make my teammates better.”

Martin is back in Australia after winning a championship with the Sydney Kings in NBL22.
“It was a long, long journey man, but I’m here and I’m ready to get started,” Martin said.
“It’s great to be back in Australia and I’m ready to link up with the team and the staff and get things going.”
The 208cm power forward is thrilled to be back and reunited with DJ Vasiljevic, the pair both on the winning NBL22 roster.
“I’m excited to be back with my boy DJ – I just can’t wait to get things rolling,” Martin said.
The 192-game NBA veteran said he can’t wait to add his skillset to the NBL25 roster.
“Versatility, I got a lot of versatility, a guy that can do everything, and all round good guy who wants to go out there and compete and have passion about the game basketball,” Martin said.
