Adelaide 36ers are excited to announce the re-signing of centre Isaac Humphries for the next three NBL seasons.
Humphries, who won his first Mark Davis Trophy as club MVP last month, will remain in the city of churches until the NBL27 season.
The 211cm centre said to commit to the club long-term is very exciting and now wants to build on what the club achieved at the back end of the NBL24 season, where the club won seven of the last 10 matches.
“I decided to come back to Adelaide to build on what we have been doing in the back half of the season,” Humphries said.
“I had several clubs show interest, which I’m very appreciative of, but ultimately, I’m very happy here in Adelaide.
“I love it here and I just hope we can now figure out the right pieces to put something special together.
“I feel at home in Adelaide, we started to feel pretty good towards the end of the season and now we need to find some good people who can contribute to our team and our community.”

The 2018 NBL Rookie of the Year is coming off the most productive season of his professional career, averaging 15.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game across all 28 matches during NBL24.
Humphries increased his averages to 18 points and 7.7 rebounds per game in the last 15 games of the season after Scott Ninnis took over as head coach, including scoring a career-high 28 points against Cairns Taipans in January,
Ninnis said to have Humphries commit to the 36ers long-term was an outstanding foundation piece to his roster development.
“To have Isaac locked in is a great result for our club, it’s very exciting,” Ninnis said.
“I made it clear from the moment I signed on as head coach I wanted Isaac, and for him to commit to the club for the next three years is fantastic.”
Adelaide 36ers Executive Chairman Grant Kelley said over the past several years, Humphries has established himself as a fan favourite.
“He is an impressive, multi-talented young man whose skill, character and tenacity are exactly what the club needs as we build toward success,” Kelley said.
Humphries now joins DJ Vasiljevic, Nick Marshall, Jason Cadee, and Sunday Dech as contracted players for the NBL25 season.
