Adelaide will then take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday October 7 at 11am AEDT, with the game to be shown live on Kayo Freebies.

The Suns and Thunder both feature players who previously played in the NBL, including 2021-22 NBA All-Rookie Second Team member Josh Giddey, 2022 No. 11 overall pick, Ousmane Dieng, Jock Landale and Torrey Craig.

Giddey won the 2021 NBL Rookie of the Year Award while playing for the 36ers as part of the Next Stars program, the NBL’s player development program to help fast track future stars.

Dieng, who was also an NBL Next Star, previously played with the New Zealand Breakers. Landale was named NBL Grand Final MVP in 2021 while playing for Melbourne United. Craig played for the Cairns Taipans from 2014-2016 and the Brisbane Bullets from 2016-2017.

Adelaide has revamped its roster after a big offseason, with star import signings Antonius Cleveland, Robert Franks and Craig Randall II poised to take it up to the NBA teams.

If you're outside Australia, both games can be watched via the NBA League Pass.
