Adelaide 36ers coach CJ Bruton has praised the continued improvement of recently crowned club MVP Antonius Cleveland.
Cleveland added a second Damian Martin Trophy as the NBL's Defensive Player of the Year this season in addition to the same award at club level and the Members' Choice.
Speaking to Rowey and Timmy G on the FiveAA Sports Show, Bruton said it wasn't just his defensive work which wowed him.
"He definitely got better and better, bringing him in, everyone saw the defensive side on what he was capable of doing," he said.

"Everyone was excited.
"He grew on the defensive end, and he grew on the offensive end.
"His output from Illawarra to being here in Adelaide, he was able to showcase that a little more.
"Not just stealing the ball and flushing it, he made some key passes and got our guys some great offensive looks."
Bruton was also quick to quash any fears 36ers fans had regarding Cleveland, backing up the player's claim he'd be back for the NBL24 campaign.
"He is coming back," he said.
