Iconic, independently owned and proud South Australian company becomes club's official supermarket partner

Adelaide 36ers are delighted to announce Foodland as the club’s official supermarket partner for the upcoming NBL25 season.

Foodland supermarkets are independently owned and proudly South Australian, committed to supporting local growers and suppliers.

Sixers CEO Nic Barbato said having an iconic brand like Foodland come on board is an exciting opportunity for the club.

“We are honoured to have a proud South Australian company like Foodland partner with us for the new season ahead,” Barbato said.

“Foodland are a fantastic supporter of sport and the community within the state and both organisations have similar values and aspirations.”

Foodland will also be recognised as a community partner, with the opportunity to promote their initiatives and healthy eating messaging across the club’s off-court youth programs.

Franklin dos Santos, Foodland CEO, said the decision to partner with the 36ers was testament to the local approach and impact both parties can have on the local community.

“Foodland is excited to be partnering with the Adelaide 36ers this year and we are very much looking forward to bringing to life the partnership not only on gameday but using basketball to assist us in delivering positive messages to the community around healthy eating and life choices,” dos Santos said.

Foodland, who have over 90 stores across the state, have been supporting South Australian sporting and community clubs, charities, and schools for over 60 years.
