Adelaide 36ers captain DJ Vasiljevic will return to the line-up for Saturday night’s home game against Perth Wildcats at the Entertainment Centre.
Head of Medical Tristan Chai said the club were extra cautious with Vasiljevic, who has missed the past five matches with a hamstring issue.
“With DJ’s rehabilitation we needed to take a conservative approach due to the nature of the injury,” Chai said.

“He has completed all rehabilitation criteria and has trained fully with the team for the past week and is ready to play, he was very close to playing on Christmas Eve.”
Vasiljevic will replace Tom Kubank in the line-up, while Development Player Keanu Rasmussen will remain in the roster for Sunday Dech (hamstring).
Chai said Dech is close to a full return after injuring his hamstring against Perth Wildcats on December 8.
