Head coach CJ Bruton was the guest speaker at the Breakfast with the 36ers event at Pulteney Grammar School on last month.
Bruton spoke to around 200 guests about life, basketball and the journey of his career, which has now spanned four decades.
Pulteney Grammar School principal Cameron Bacholer said having Bruton speak at the Breakfast event was a great insight for all in attendance.
“CJ was brilliant, and we’ve had incredibly positive feedback. Students, staff and parents all thought the breakfast was excellent,” Mr Bacholer said.

Bruton said having the opportunity to be the guest speaker at the Breakfast event was a privilege.
“We need to inspire the next generation, and a platform like this is on we can do that,” Bruton said.
Pulteney Grammar earlier this year signed on as the official Academy School for the club, with assistant coach Michael Lake assisting with the school’s basketball program.
The partnership also includes Adelaide 36ers player visits, junior and middle school clinics and work experience opportunities for Pulteney Grammar students.
The three-year agreement started in 2023 and has the mutual option to extend beyond and until 2027.
